During his 30-year commercial real estate career, Tom Fehr has earned a reputation as a hardworking, straight forward, creative dealmaker and leader. He has been involved in over 1,600 sale and lease transactions and exclusively represented over 45 properties totaling in excess of 4.5 million square feet. Clients included Prometheus, MetLife, Heitman, PGIM, Clarion, Deutsche Bank, TA Realty, Guggenheim, Rialto Capital, Harbert Management and Cigna. Tom has completed lease transactions greater than 50,000 RSF with Verizon, Kaiser, Aetna, Wells Fargo Bank, Fresenius, Electronic Arts, and Central Garden and Pet.
Tom was instrumental in the growth of the Cornish & Carey/Newmark brokerage operations. He began managing the Walnut Creek/Pleasanton offices in early 2000’s. During his leadership, he doubled the number of agents working in offices and quadrupled the gross revenue. Upon Newmark’s purchase of Cornish & Carey, Tom was promoted to Regional Managing Director overseeing the daily operations of eleven offices and 250 agents. In 2016, Tom was recognized with the first Scott Carey Memorial Award for his leadership and dedication to helping others succeed.
